Each cabin carries a small, sealed air volume: cool air enters at the outside opening, rotates inside the drum and is released gently into the lobby; a matching warm packet rotates out. There’s no straight cross-flow across the boundary.

How the entrance actually works: sliding vs. revolving

Two different behaviours: a DP180 lift-and-slide creates a temporary open aperture (air can cross the envelope while open). A revolving entrance forms sealed cabins that rotate, maintaining the pressure boundary with only local exchange at the drum.

Best where a large, unobstructed opening is required. Understand that comfort depends on how long the aperture is open and local wind/stack effects during use.

Revolving Airlock

Designed to minimise infiltration. The pressure boundary is maintained while people pass through sealed cabins, reducing draughts and HVAC load.
